Because nobody should have to sleep in the cold.
Every winter in Quebec, people experiencing homelessness face wind, humidity, and extreme temperatures with very little protection. Meanwhile, tons of still-usable materials are thrown into landfills. ReCoudre l’Espoir is transforming this reality into a concrete solution.
100% Recovered
Sleeping bags and fabrics are rescued from landfill to give them a second useful life.
Extreme Protection
Use of the waterproof “blue field” to radically cut off the humidity and icy wind of the Quebec winter.
Human Heat
More than a material object, each carefully designed bag is a message of solidarity to restore dignity.
The idea behind the project
My name is Jonathan and I launched this project with a simple idea: to transform forgotten materials into essential protection for those who face our winters.
