More than a sleeping bag: a tool of dignity
My project involves making sleeping bags and pillows from 100% recycled or reclaimed materials. I collect used or damaged sleeping bags, various fabrics and materials, as well as “blue field,” a waterproof coating that blocks moisture and wind. All these elements are sorted, cleaned, and reworked to create products that are more durable, warmer, and better suited to harsh outdoor conditions.
A message of solidarity
Each bag is designed to offer better protection against the cold and damp. But this project goes beyond the material aspect. It’s also about restoring dignity and reminding the recipients that they are not forgotten. Offering something sturdy, clean, and thoughtfully designed sends a clear message: solidarity still exists. These are not just sleeping bags; they are protective tools designed to make a real difference in someone’s daily life.
